Toshiba News: Introducing 'Strata Meeting' Conferencing & Web Collaboration 

 

Toshiba has announced Strata Meeting, an audio conferencing and web collaboration platform designed to work with the Strata CIX systems to provide meet-me conferencing, desktop sharing, conference recording, usage reporting, and much more.

Strata Meeting is web-based, so it’s easy to set up conferences / collaboration sessions from anywhere, and users can attend the conference from anywhere via the network.

 

Users’ PCs do not require any special downloadable client software. All they need is Internet access from their web browser.

Conferences can be scheduled, with a guaranteed number of ports or can be on-demand, meaning they can be dialed into and used at any time within the constraints of the available resources.

Strata Meeting offers many useful functions and advantages:

- Reservation-less and Scheduled Meet-me Conferencing – enables conferences to start quickly and can be organized flexibly.

- Web based Desktop Sharing – enables attendees to see and share documents, presentations and conversations in the meeting.
